SKC, Longman, and Bratwa have given away a classic gem that was slated for Freak Recordings ages ago and never dropped. SKC has always been one of my favorite producers. Longman and Bratwa are two of the baddest DJ’s and have been pushing Drum + Bass Music in Budapest for years. Together with Chris.SU, Bratwa, and Safair; they formed the Hungarian mega group Tactile. I’ve had the pleasure of holding onto this one for years and am excited to share this with you! Click read more for the download link.
Check out this free MP3 download from Exit Records label head, dBridge. dBridge writes: “This was originally going to come out on Shogun as the B-Side to Inner Disbelief. I decided against the 12” as I felt I kept giving away my best tunes, much to Frictions annoyance; understandably (we’ve made up now though). I still owe him a release; which is now in writing so I’ll have to commit.” Click read more to download!
Atlanta’s own Distal and Mite drop their 1st release on their own label, Embassy Recordings, today! Featuring two fresh cuts, the A side finds Mite’s “Chocolate Circuit” which reminds me of the old days of 31 Records with a lush vibe a la the Marcus Intalex of yesteryear. The flip is supplied by Distal, featuring “Attempt At Yellow”. This track has been killing it on the dance floors for a while. Minimal, deep and rolling; a must for any Dubstep DJ’s collection. Support your locals and pick this release up!
Tonight at Tambor Y Bajo we have a very special guest! The one and only Dara will be joining us for a very intimate session at El Bar. From being one of the 1st Drum & Bass DJ’s in the country to opening Breakbeat Science, America’s 1st all Drum & Bass record store, and touring around the world with Dieselboy, AK1200, and MC Messinian as Planet Of The Drums, there is little doubt why Dara has been an icon in the Drum & Bass scene from it’s onset. Joining Dara is Bombazi, Mayhem, MC Armanni Reign, and Proppa MC! Read more for the full info!
New Years Eve is this Thursday! What are you going to do? We’ve got two bangers for you to choose from in the EAV. 1st up is Graveyard. Come through to hear the best in Electro, Bassline House, Dubstep, and more mixed up by three of Atlanta’s finest: Rob Wonder, Megan Foxxx, and Rrrump! Next up we’ve got Basswars, which has been shaping up as one of my favorite nights in Atlanta, at Blue Frog Cantina! On the bill is Specimen A, all the way from the UK, Trench, Rel 1, Quad Control, Section 8, Don Darko, and will be hosted by Kakarot MC + Arion Lee. Neither one of these will break the bank with their door covers or drink prices so come through and bounce back and forth between both of them in the East Atlanta Village!
